Ebay is the greatest thing ever
I love Ebay. You can find just about anything you want on there. And people will bid crazy amounts on stupid things. If you watch the Tonight Show, they show items purchased on Ebay and what people paid for it. A few weeks after Xmas, they showed an auction that someone had. The headline was last brussel sprout leftover from Xmas. It went for over $2740, probably to golden palace. Another Item was an empty Xbox 360 box. It was only the box, not the game system. It sold for $810. Obviously someone did not read the headline for the item or the description.
Anyways, the reason I am mentioning Ebay is because I sold something on there this week. I had some extra tickets that I wasn't going to be able to use for a Red Sox game in July. The seats were front row on the Green Monster. The three tickets cost me $407. I sold them for $960. So in a week I made $560. I am obviously thrilled. But it still doesn't touch the amount of money I made a few years ago. I had two extra seats for a playoff game for the red sox against the Yankees. They weren't even good seats. They were in the outfield and back about 20 rows. I paid $200 for the tickets and sold them for $1260. That paid for my tickets, a flight for me and my brother to Boston, our hotel room, and food for the weekend. It is such a great feeling when someone is stupid enough to pay so much for my items and help me out. I just wish I had more crap to sell on there.
